I am joined in the kitchen today by my friend Breene, who shares her easy whipped dessert. Take it away Breene!
This dessert combines the richness of pudding and the refreshing flavor of gelatin. It is perfect for a quick spring/summer dessert.
1 Package (3 OZ) Gelatin–any flavor. (I used Strawberry Jello.)
1 Cup Boiling Water
1/2 Cup Cold Water
1 Package Vanilla Instant Pudding
2 Cups Cold Milk
1 Lime (for Garnish)
Whisk or Hand Mixer
Glasses for Serving
Boil 1 Cup of water. Stir in the gelatin until dissolved. Add the cold water. Chill until very thick.
Prepare the vanilla pudding, whisking or blending in the 2 cups of cold milk. Using the hand mixer or the whisk, whip until fluffy. Pour the mixture into the pudding, blending well. Pour into individual dishes and chill until firm. Garnish with lime slices.
Makes 10-12 servings.
