Tarte Frxxxtion Stick 3-In-1 Exfoliating Cleanser
I originally received a travel-sized version of the Tarte frxxxtion stick 3-in-1 exfoliating cleanser in an Ipsy bag. It quickly became one of my favorite exfoliating products and I use it at least once a week.
It contains diatomaceous earth microexfoliants: fossilized sea algae that absorb surface oil and toxins while acting as a gentle exfoliant. It does not have a strong scent.
The particles in this exfoliating cleanser are finely milled and gentle enough to use every day.
Rainforest of the Sea™ 4-in-1 Setting Mist
This is a setting spray, but it also primes, sets, hydrates and refreshes skin. It helps smooth the look of fine lines and wrinkles. According to the Tarte web site, it contains the Rainforest of the Sea™ complex: a proprietary blend of algae and marine flower extracts that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while smoothing and softening skin. It also contains the following:
- orange peel oil: helps promote collagen production and reduce puffiness for youthful-looking skin
- sea water: provides intense hydration and minerals to quench & nourish skin
- lentil seed extract: helps minimize the appearance of pores
- caffeine: helps improve microcirculation while reducing the appearance of redness and puffiness
- coconut oil: antioxidant-rich oil that helps smooth and nourish skin
- lavender oil: soothes and tones skin
This is is a product that can be used before or after applying makeup. The mist has fine enough droplets that it can be applied (and reapplied) throughout the day to refresh your skin without ruining the look of any powder or cream makeup.
In our daily environment there are countless pollutants/toxins that tax the skin. Lavender oil has antioxidants that help prevent and counteract the negative effects of pollutants and can calm redness or inflammation in the skin.
