Lemon Coconut Ice Cream

No ice cream maker needed for this refreshing dessert!
  • 2-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 quart milk
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice
  • Juice of one orange
  • 1 pint whipping cream, whipped
  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • Measuring cups
  • Medium metal bowl
  • Large bowl
  • Mixer
  • Large airtight container
1.  In large bowl combine 2 cups sugar and milk.  Mix well.  Stir in combined juices and coconut.  Fold in whipped cream.
2.  Transfer to airtight container and freeze.
Serve with fresh blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries.  Makes 1-/12 quarts
