This recipe for Watermelon Ginger Granita can help you beat the heat this summer.
Ingredients:
- 6 cups cubed seedless watermelon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 teaspoons grated peeled ginger
Materials:
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Grater
- Blender
- Knife
- Cutting board
- 9 x 13 inch baking dish
- Plastic wrap
- Fork
Directions:
1. Puree watermelon, sugar, lime juice, and ginger until smooth.
2. Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze, scraping with a fork every hour, until fluffy, 5 to 7 hours. Garnish with fresh mint.
